General Terms and Conditions
Article 1: Welcome

The owners, or a person designated by them, commit to personally welcoming guests with all the desired attention to facilitate their stay and acquaint them with the region.

Article 2: Duration of Stay
​
Once the reservation is confirmed for a specific duration, the client cannot, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises.

Article 3: Reservation Formalities
The reservation becomes firm as soon as the owners receive a deposit from the client equivalent to 30% of the rental amount. This deposit can be paid either by bank transfer or by check. The payment of this deposit signifies full acceptance of the general conditions.
It should be noted that until the deposit is received, the reservation is not confirmed. Consequently, Au Gré du Sud reserves the right to reallocate the rooms and studios.

Article 4: Payment of the Balance
​
The balance is to be paid on the day of departure to the owners.
The balance of the stay, including any additional charges, consumptions, dinners, extra rentals on site, and tourist tax, must be paid on-site. Payment can be made by French check, bank transfer, credit card, or cash. Bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.

Article 5: Cancellation by the Client
​
Any modification is possible only with the agreement of "Au Gré du Sud" and may incur additional fees. In case of cancellation of the reservation, the client will owe a penalty as follows:

If the cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date, the full deposit will be refunded to the client.

If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit remains fully with the owner.

If the client does not show up by 8:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date and has not informed of their delay, the owner can reallocate the rooms. The deposit remains with the owner, and the total stay cost is due.

In case of a shortened stay compared to the initially planned reservation, the price corresponding to the cost of the originally planned accommodation for the entire stay remains fully due to the owners.

Article 6: Cancellation by the Owners

If, before the start of the stay, the owners are forced to cancel the reservation, they must inform the client by email immediately. The client will then be immediately and fully refunded the amounts already paid.

Article 7: Arrival Time
​
The client must arrive on the day specified during the reservation, no earlier than 3:00 PM (time for availability of rooms and studios and key handover) and no later than 8:00 PM. The client must inform by phone at 04.67.05.39.16 if, due to unforeseen circumstances, they are forced to arrive after this time slot.

Article 8: Departure Time
​
The departure time for rooms and studios is set at 11:00 AM at the latest.

Article 9: Use of the Premises
​
The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them according to their intended purpose.
It should be noted that the rooms and studios are non-smoking.
The client agrees to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to systematically declare—and financially cover—any damage for which they are responsible.
Guests' attention is drawn to the fact that minors on the property are under the sole and full responsibility of their parents or those having authority over them.
Au Gré du Sud will not accept any responsibility in case of loss, theft, and/or damage or injury caused to property and/or persons on the property, regardless of the cause.

Article 10: Choice of Room and Studio

We reserve the right to change your choice of room or studio to a room or studio of the same or higher category if necessary.

Article 11: Capacity
​
The reservation is made for a specific number of people. If the number of people exceeds what was initially planned upon the client's arrival, the owners can refuse the additional clients if the accommodation capacity is insufficient to accommodate them without canceling the reservation. This refusal cannot be considered a modification or termination of the reservation initiated by the owners, so if the client leaves, no refund of the deposit will be considered, and the full stay cost will be due to the owners.
If the accommodation capacity is sufficient to receive them, the additional clients must pay the fees associated with the new accommodation offered according to the current rates.

Article 12: Animals
​
Animals are not allowed in our establishment.
If this clause is not respected by the client, the owners can refuse the animals. This refusal cannot be considered a modification or termination of the reservation initiated by the owner, so if the client leaves, no refund of the deposit will be considered, and the full stay cost will be due to the owners.

Article 13: Changes to the Terms of Sale
​
These terms of sale are subject to change at any time without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these terms of sale are considered acquired as soon as the deposit is paid.

Article 14: Data Protection and Privacy
​
In accordance with law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, you have the right to access and correct data concerning you. We commit to never transmitting the information you have provided to us to other companies or organizations.
